2008 ARRL State Convention
Kalamazoo is proud to host the 2008 ARRL State Convention in conjunction with its Hamfest On October 12th 2008 at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds.
The convention will start off with a Social Hour from Noon to 1pm and will feature Live music and light refreshments. This is a great time to meet the guest speakers and ARRL officials.
The convention is being catered by
Maggie's Catering of
Kalamazoo.
Maggie's is a well known company in the area with a reputation for
outstanding quality and service!
This years Keynote address is:
"Amateur Radio Main Street in the 21st
Century"
Our speaker is Mr. Dan Henderson, N1ND who is the Regulatory
Information Manager for the ARRL.
Dan's presentation is reflection on how Amateur Radio affects us
all, where we are today and where we can be tomorrow!
After the convention there will be a special session of the Royal order of the Wouff Hong open to ARRL members attending the convention.
